June 19-22, 2008  Walker/Coleville California

Welcome Message

Late Registration Now Being Accepted!
Registration allowed at the door - but please contact and let us know!

Welcome to the 2008 Eastern Sierra ATV Jamboree. This event is shaping up to be a great time for all. We are limiting it to the first 125 pre-registered riders so hurry up and get your registration packets and monies sent in ASAP.

The Jamboree festivities will be held at the Walker Community Park and Center. The Center will provide for an indoor area for our Saturday night dinner. Outside the facility, we expect to have a few vendors showing some great new items.

Thursday will be the day of travel for most with Friday being the first day of riding. Each ride day will start out with coffee and bagels at the Walker Community Center. The closest breakfast is available at the Meadowcliff Restaurant in Coleville, 3 miles north of Walker (they open as early as 6:30 am). Riding will start each day between 7:30 am and 8 am and each ride will last a minimum of 3 hours with the longest being ~6 hours (including driving time to the trail head).

We look forward to seeing everyone for this great event and look forward to many years of some great trail riding.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

The Eastern Sierra ATV Jamboree would like to give special thanks to the Toiyabe National Forests and the Bureau of Land Management, for allowing Jamboree use of public lands under their administration.  Their land use and management policies have allowed for our controlled and careful use of ATV's on public lands.  Thank you to Mono County as well for the use of county roads.

California does require that all vehicles that are operated in public lands must be registered with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). The registration fee is $50 per vehicle and is valid for a two year period. Contact the DMV or your local ATV dealer for this permit.

Non-Resident Permit: You will need to purchase a special "Nonresident OHV Permit" if you are not a California resident AND your off-highway vehicle or snowmobile is not registered in your home state. Your state's plate or sticker must be clearly visible on the vehicle. To find out where these Nonresident OHV Permits can be purchased and to get more information on the program, please contact a local Ranger or contact the OHMVR Division at:   Nonresident Permit - Vendor List (PDF) - as of 10/29/07
